Total Data Protection

Total Data Protection is a service designed to keep critical services and data highly available, no matter what the potential cause of data loss or service interruption.

Three different solutions are combined into a low cost managed service, which protects the entire data center environment (all systems and data enterprise wide) from threat.

On-premise Recovery

We provide clients with an enterprise license to market leading Continuous Data Protection software. Application aware, Host Agents are installed on all hosts physical and virtual within the primary data center. These agents create Snapshots of the host according to the clients Recovery Point Objective (typically 15 minutes or less), and continuously replicate to a locally installed MicroPod. The MicroPod de-duplicates the data at 90% efficiency and replicates across to target facilities in the cloud.

Any host can be recovered locally to a new virtual server within 15 minutes or less.
Lost or corrupt data can be retrieved in less than two minutes from any snapshot.

Failover to the Cloud

Should critical systems fail due to power outages, natural disaster, flood, fire or the like, one or more may be resumed within 15 minutes per host within our Virtual Environment. Total Data Protection is a 100% replication of your data center - systems, applications and data - to secondary offsite facilities.

The recovery process is initiated through our Cloud Console.
Recovered appear on your subnet with the same identity (I.P and Mac address) as the source.

Offsite Backup and Data Retention

Backup and retention policies are configured on each host. For example you make elect to keep 6 months or more of historical snapshots, while still maintaining a Recovery Point Objective of 15 minutes or less. Once the service is in place, all other backup technologies and processes may be discontinued. At least three separate copies of data exist at any given moment in separate geographical locations.

“The nScaled solution replaces other backup technologies and processes, simplifies our environment and reduces cost and complexity.”
