Data is growing exponentially driving ever increasing costs of disk based storage and the associate capital investments in expensive, primary storage.
By archiving older, less frequently accessed data into the cloud, clients are able to free up significant amounts of space on their primary, high performance SAN or NAS environments while still keeping the archive data rapidly accessible and secure.
Our Data Archive service provides you with all you need to create substantial amounts of space on your primary storage. We use industry leading de-duplication technology to compress data at typical ratios of 20:1 or better. The compressed data is replicated to a secure target in the cloud where it remains instantly accessible and retrievable.
The effectiveness of compression means that WAN traffic diminishes significantly (EG: 10TB becomes 500MB). This means that more data can be moved faster, and connections can be more cost effective.
Our data archive service includes all software licensing, remote storage and data transfers.
